TOWN OF HENNESSEY BOARD OF TRUSTEES
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 08, 2024
The Board of Trustees of the Town of Hennessey met in regular session at 6:00 p.m. on February 08, 2024. The meeting was held in the Council Room of the Town Hall Complex located at 123 S. Main, Hennessey, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma.
Mayor Clif Vogt called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Trustees David Jones, Harold Shaw, Bert Gritz, and Randy Bohnstedt answered roll call. Others at the council table were Town Clerk, Kelley Vaverka, Town Treasurer, Shelley Burch, and Town Administrator, Tiffany Tillman. Also attending the meeting was Jack Quirk, Barb Walter, Mark Henry, and Brandon Scott.
REPORT FROM HENNESSEY AD HOC AGENCIES
Jack Quirk reported that the last 3 way finder signs to point people in the direction of where they may be going were going to be installed.
APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA WHICH INCLUDES THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING, CLAIMS TO BE PAID, AND THE DEPARTMENT REPORTS (Police, Water, Fire, Library, Treasurer, Town Hall,
Motion by Vogt, seconded by Bohnstedt to approve the consent agenda. Motion carried 5 YES

CITIZENS COMMENTS – Barb asked for an update on the state auditor visiting with the Trustees and asked if there would be a report concerning what was discussed.

DISCUSSION WITH POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF THE MEETING SOFTWARE.
Motion by Vogt, seconded by Bohnstedt to purchase the meeting agenda. Motion carried. 5 YES

Tiffany will check on any legal issues and insurance issues then will report back to board.
Motion by Jones, seconded by Gritz to purchase the CIC Timeclock Plus program for employee time tracking. Motion carried. 5 YES

DISCUSSION WITH POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPROVE A QUOTE ON THE DEMO OF CONCRETE AT THE FIRE STATION, HAUL OFF, GRADE TO DRAIN, AND INSTALL GRASS SOD IN THE SPACE BETWEEN THE FIRE STATION AND THE LIBRARY.
Motion by Vogt, seconded by Gritz to accept the bid of $9800.00 from Gradework Construction LLC to demo the concrete and install grass sod at the fire station and library. Motion carried 5 YES

DISCUSSION WITH POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPOINT AN EMERGENCY MANAGER.
Motion by Gritz, seconded by Vogt to appoint Tiffany Tillman and Aaron Pitts as co-emergency managers. Pay will be discussed next month. Motion carried 5 YES

DISCUSSION WITH POSSIBLE ACTION TO APPROVE THE INSTALLATION OF A WATER WELL AT Motion by Jones, seconded by Vogt to approve the installation of a water well at the cemetery for the new restroom facility using Lang Well Drilling for $9,795.00. Motion carried 5 YES
